A Bay Area tradition since 1866, California’s largest and longest-running Scottish Games celebrates the very best of Scottish competition, culture and entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
Scottish competitions include heavy athletics, highland dancing, piping and drumming, soccer, and sheepdog trials. Live entertainment includes Scottish folk musicians and celtic rock bands, as well as Scottish country dancing, living history, birds of prey and celtic animal exhibitions. A daily Grandstand Show features the Games’ opening & closing ceremonies with performances from special guest military & pipe bands and the spectacular ‘massed bands’ comprised of hundreds of pipers and drummers. Be sure to check out our Games Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for more information.
